CHRIS HAWKES
Chris has always been a keen artist, avidly drawing from a young age, with a love of comic book artwork. In his teens he designed advertising flyers for Rock and Roll clubs, also designing several album sleeves and labels amongst other projects. Chris has been tattooing since 2003, setting up Buzz Tattoo in 2006 working from a small private studio in Lancing. With the growing popularity of Buzz Tattoo, larger premises were required. In 2009 he relocated to East Worthing, but wishing to expand again & solve parking problems Chris has moved to Brighton Road on the Lancing / Shoreham border.
Wurzel
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away… Wurz left the building industry to seek a life that enabled him to read comics and sit around drawing weirdness all day long. Happily he fell into tattooing and spent the next 25 years colouring in the good denizens of Hove and Brighton, plus the surrounding areas, along with tattooing at a few international shows where he won a couple of awards for his black and grey comic book style stuff. Still firmly in love with the art of tattooing, you can find him working happily at Buzz, where he will be only to pleased to make your tattoo ideas a reality.
